What to include in your request
To help us verify and process your request quickly, include the following information in your email:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your DoorLah account
- Your DoorLah username (if applicable)
- The community or estate you belong to (e.g., HDB block or condo name)
- A short reason for the deletion request (optional)
Identity verification
For security and to prevent unauthorized deletion, we may ask you to verify your identity. Typical verification steps may include:
- Confirming a verification code sent to your registered email or phone number
- Responding from the email address associated with your account
What will be deleted
Once we verify your request, we will remove or anonymize personal data tied to your account where possible. This may include:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone, profile photo)
- Your listings (marketplace or shop), which may be removed or marked as from a deleted user
- Your personal messages and direct content, subject to legal or safety requirements
Retention exceptions
Some information may be retained for legal, security, or operational reasons. We will only retain the minimum data necessary for those purposes.
Processing time
We aim to respond to deletion requests within 30 days from verification. Complex requests may take longer; we will keep you informed by email.
